Work Experience

Seoul, KOREA

Polariant opens a new era of mobile VR experience through a technology that polarizes an indoor light source to find the 3-dimensional location and posture of objects. The core technology uses a small polarizing filter to be attached to any indoor light and a small ball-shaped sensor ‘Pol’ that receives the angle and distance data from the sensed light. The resulting readings can be accurate to the centimeter at the fraction of the cost of pre-existing PC based motion controllers. These advantages enable mobile VR users to enjoy more immersive experience with significantly affordable price
